Luxe Organix Cica Soothing Gel is a lightweight leave-on gel built around centella asiatica extract, declared on the label at 200,000ppm — 20% of the formula — with madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid all listed individually alongside it. Those four are the isolated actives from centella rather than extract alone, which is unusual at this price. The formula also carries calendula, propolis, and a long run of botanical extracts: Roman chamomile, peppermint, thyme, feverfew, lemon verbena, daisy, oregano, sage, nettle, and houttuynia cordata. The texture is a water-gel — it sinks in rather than sitting on the surface, which makes it workable under other products or on its own. Fragrance free and alcohol free, with a gentle preservative system (hydroxyacetophenone, caprylyl glycol, 1,2-hexanediol) rather than parabens or formaldehyde releasers.
