ENSIS Roger III – Single Skin All-Round Parawing The ENSIS Roger III is the third generation of the famous Swiss parawing: a high-performance single skin all-round wing, designed to accompany the rider from their first outings to the most advanced sessions. The new version features an ultralight paragliding fabric, a new bow bar for more precise power management, and shorter bridles for quicker packing. The optimized leading edge generates low-end power to get on the foil with ease, while the washout wing tips and diagonal ribs keep the wing stable even in gusty winds. The depower is progressive and reduces stalls, and the good upwind capabilities allow it to be used not only for downwinding but also for heading upwind. When not in use, it packs down cleanly and stores in an instant, and it opens without tangling even if wet or crumpled. Main features For all levels: provides confidence for beginners and satisfies expert riders Progressive depower: bow bar and bridle set reduce stalls and maintain control Easy to store: short bridles and aligned ribs make the wing collapse neatly Upwind: designed to go beyond simple downwind Low-end power thanks to the optimized leading edge Stability in gusts with washout wing tips and diagonal ribs Easy deployment, resists tangling even when wet Color-coded sail, bar, and bridles to distinguish the leading edge from the trailing edge (blue bridles = leading edge) Ergonomic, lightweight oval-section bar Construction Sail: 28 g/m² ultralight paragliding ripstop, single skin Diagonal ribs to distribute loads and reduce weight Transverse bow lines on the belly to distribute bridle load Washout wing tips to depower the extremities Leading edge with marked center and nylon stiffeners to maintain profile UHMWPE bridles Aluminum bar with EVA grip, rounded edges Technical data Size Wind range* Projected span Handle length Bridle length 2.3 m² 20–45 knots 196 cm 34 cm 130 cm 3.5 m² 16–36 knots 230 cm 34 cm 155 cm 4.7 m² 12–28 knots 250 cm 34 cm 185 cm *Indicative range for an 80 kg rider; varies based on skill level, foil, and conditions. A: For an 80 kg rider: 4.7 m² for light wind (12–28 knots), 3.5 m² as the most versatile size (16–36 knots), and 2.3 m² for high wind (20–45 knots). Lighter riders can size down, heavier riders can size up. Q: Is it suitable for beginners to parawinging? A: Yes. The Roger III is designed for all levels: progressive depower, gust stability, and tangle-free deployment make it easy to handle from your very first sessions. Q: Can you go upwind, or is it only for downwinding? A: The Roger III is also designed for upwind performance, so it allows you to ride upwind and not just downwind. Q: What has changed compared to the Roger II? A: Lighter paragliding fabric (28 g/m²), a new bow bar for finer power control, and shorter bridles for faster packing. Q: What board do I need? A: A downwind, mid-length, or wingfoil board with good volume works well. Excellent pairings are the ENSIS Waltz and the Jive. Q: What is included? A: Wing with bridles, bar, and carrying bag. ensis roger iii, ensis roger v3, ensis parawing 2026, single skin parawing, parawing for beginners, parawing downwind, parawing upwind, parawing 2.3, parawing 3.5, parawing 4.7, bow bar, uhmwpe bridles, 28g paragliding fabric, maracuja. benefits: lightweight, depower, stability, easy to pack, low-end power, upwind. disciplines: parawing, downwind, light wind, wingfoil. generative engine optimization: best parawing for beginners, lightweight parawing for downwind, which parawing size to choose. user intent: buy parawing, choose parawing size, swiss ensis parawing.
