The WOLFBOX G900 Core is a versatile mirror dashcam that combines a digital rear-view mirror with high-quality video recording at the front and rear of the car. The front camera records in 4K resolution and the rear camera in Full HD. Thanks to the Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor, HDR, Wifi 6, GPS and voice control, this dashcam offers handy features for everyday use. Parking surveillance is also possible with an optional hardwire kit.Ultra HD 4K + Full HDThe Wolfbox G900 Core is equipped with an 8-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 image sensor. The front camera records in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 30 frames per second. The rear camera films in Full HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels at 25 frames per second. Thanks to HDR on both cameras, light and dark areas of the image are better balanced. This helps to preserve detail in bright sunlight, backlighting and when filming in the dark.The rear camera is connected to the mirror unit using the supplied connection cable. The available cable length and any extension cables depend on the model and accessories.Digital rear-view mirror with 12-inch touchscreenThe Wolfbox G900 Core combines a mirror dashcam with a digital rear-view mirror. The large 12-inch IPS touchscreen displays the image from the rear camera, ensuring you have a clear view to the rear even when your normal view is obstructed by, for example, passengers, luggage or the vehicle bodywork. You can use the touchscreen to switch between camera views and select your preferred display.The mirror unit is mounted over the existing rear-view mirror. For vehicles without a suitable rear-view mirror, alternative mounting solutions may be available as accessories.Fast 5.8GHz Wifi 6The Wolfbox G900 Core features built-in 5.8GHz Wifi 6. This allows you to connect a smartphone to the dashcam and view, download and share videos via the Wolfbox AUTO app. You can also manage various camera settings via the app. This makes it easy to save important footage to your phone without having to remove the memory card from the camera.Includes GPS receiverThe Wolfbox G900 Core comes with a GPS receiver. This allows data such as speed and location to be linked to the recordings. Using the accompanying GPS player on your computer, you can review recorded videos with additional information, including the route travelled. The GPS receiver can be mounted using the supplied bracket.Compatible with microSD cards up to 512GBThe Wolfbox G900 Core supports microSD memory cards up to 512GB. This allows you to store footage for longer periods before older recordings are overwritten by the loop recording function. The available recording time depends on the chosen storage capacity, the recording settings and the use of both cameras.Please note: a microSD card is not included as standard with the G900 Core. For reliable operation when recording in 4K, we recommend a suitable memory card with sufficient write speed.Expandable with accessoriesThe Wolfbox G900 Core can be expanded with suitable accessories. Examples include an alternative mounting bracket for installation in vehicles without a suitable rear-view mirror and an optional CPL filter to reduce annoying reflections. Please check before purchase whether the accessory in question is compatible with the G900 Core.170° + 150° wide-angle viewThe front camera has a 170-degree field of view and the rear camera a 150-degree field of view. Thanks to these wide-angle lenses, a broad section of the road in front of and behind the vehicle is captured. This allows you to better review important traffic situations and events around your car.Voice controlThe Wolfbox G900 Core supports hands-free voice control with 12 voice commands. This allows you to control various functions without touching the touchscreen. Supported commands include:- Lock the video: lock the current recording. - Take photo: take a photo. - Turn on/off Wifi: switch Wifi on or off. - Turn on/off screen: switch the screen on or off.Automatic parking modeWith a suitable optional hardwire kit, the Wolfbox G900 Core can also monitor what is happening around the vehicle whilst parked. Parking mode supports time-lapse recording and impact detection via the G-sensor.With time-lapse recording, images are captured at intervals and played back at an accelerated rate. This saves storage space compared to continuous recording at the normal frame rate. If an impact is detected, the G-sensor can lock the relevant recording so that it is not simply overwritten by the loop recording.Please note: a suitable hardwire kit is required to use parking mode. This is sold separately. Actual performance and recording duration depend on the power supply, the settings and the vehicle’s available battery capacity.Dashcam with reversing aidThe rear camera can also be used as an aid when reversing. When the rear camera is correctly connected and the required reverse trigger is connected, the screen can automatically switch to the rear camera view as soon as reverse gear is engaged. The view supports adjustable parking guide lines to make it easier to judge distances when manoeuvring.Please note: automatic switching requires a suitable connection to the reverse signal. The dashcam does not replace direct monitoring of the surroundings whilst parking.Automatic start and stopWhen the Wolfbox G900 Core is powered via the supplied power connector, the camera starts automatically when the power is switched on. When the power is switched off, recording normally stops. This means you do not need to manually operate the dashcam repeatedly during everyday use.G-sensor and loop recordingThe built-in G-sensor detects sudden jolts or impacts. When the set sensitivity level is reached, the relevant video clip is automatically locked. These locked recordings are protected from being overwritten by the normal loop recording process.With loop recording, older, unprotected files are automatically replaced when the memory card becomes full. This allows the dashcam to continue recording without you having to manually clear the card after every journey.Built-in microphoneThe Wolfbox G900 Core can record sound whilst filming. If desired, you can disable sound recording via the settings. This allows you to decide for yourself whether sound is captured in the videos.Date, time and GPS recordingThe dashcam records the date and time alongside the video footage. The GPS function also allows location and speed data to be linked to the recordings. Using the appropriate playback software, you can view the footage and available GPS information later on a computer.Supercapacitor power supplyThe Wolfbox G900 Core uses a supercapacitor instead of a traditional built-in battery. This type of power supply is designed to be more resistant to varying temperatures and helps to ensure the dashcam’s reliability. For normal operation, the camera relies on the external power connection.
