Vintage Bamboo Armchair | Fan-Back Cane Conservatory Chair | Forgotten Chair #005

Presenting Forgotten Chair #005 A beautiful vintage bamboo armchair with a wonderfully distinctive fan-shaped back, curved arms and intricate cane detailing. The natural honey-toned bamboo has a lovely aged character, with variations in colour and subtle signs of its vintage history that give the chair plenty of warmth and personality. I particularly love the shape of this one. The sweeping fan-shaped back, delicate cane work and curved bamboo frame make it a real feature piece, while its natural finish means it can work beautifully in a variety of interiors. I can imagine it sitting perfectly in an English conservatory, garden room, bedroom, reading corner or relaxed country-style interior. Add a linen cushion and it becomes a lovely spot for a morning coffee and a good book. Condition This is a genuine vintage piece and has been pre-loved, so it isn't perfect. It has the expected signs of age and use, including variations in the bamboo, small marks and areas of natural wear. The natural ageing and character of the bamboo and cane are part of what makes this chair special. Please look carefully through all of the photographs as they form an important part of the description.
