Adelaide is Birra Flea's American Pale Ale: a pure malt, pale yellow beer brewed with Umbrian barley and American hops. The hops bring grapefruit, tropical fruit and fresh hay to the nose, with honey, caramel and biscuit from the malt. Fresh and distinctly bitter (50 IBU) yet well balanced and very drinkable, under a dense, creamy, persistent head. Unfiltered, unpasteurised and top-fermented. Supplied in a 20-litre keg for draught. Draught dispenser: these kegs are served through a Lindr Pygmy, a compact countertop beer cooler with a single tap. It plugs into a standard socket and chills the beer as it pours, so there are no fixed beer lines or cellar cooling to install.
