Menkaure Outdoor

Originally developed exclusively for interior upholstery and drapery, The Vale London is expanding its outdoor offering featuring one of its most popular designs, Menkaure. The pattern is now being introduced on an outdoor-quality base cloth in three of its existing colourways, allowing designers to carry it from interior spaces onto terraces, pool decks, verandas, garden rooms and other outdoor living areas. Menkaure is available for outdoor use in Dune, Palm Beach and Twinkle. The large-scale geometric design draws inspiration from the peaks of the Egyptian pyramids and the hieroglyphics carved within them. It is named after Menkaure, the ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty whose pyramid is the smallest of the three principal Pyramids of Giza. Originally drawn in ink and saturated with water before being translated into a digital print, Menkaure has a softness and movement that balances its bold geometric form. The result is a highly liveable pattern that works across both interior and exterior spaces. Also available as an indoor fabric.
