A live implementation programme for experienced Executive Assistants and senior support professionals who want to move beyond using individual tools and start designing how work actually flows. 10 live sessions 277-page workbook Private Learning Hub 100+ workflow examples Applied workplace project Next cohort Monday 22 February to Monday 10 May 2027 Time 1:00pm–4:30pm UK Early booking £2,745 + VAT Book by 30 November 2026 EAPA is not a standard Microsoft course. You learn a practical methodology for finding friction, redesigning workflows, choosing the right Microsoft 365 tools, introducing AI and automation safely, and proving the value of the change you make. View the February cohort Employer information Speak to Paul This is an implementation programme, not a tour of apps Most Executive Assistants already use Outlook, Teams, Excel and other Microsoft tools every day. The problem is rarely access to another feature. The problem is that work is still fragmented across inboxes, chats, meetings, documents, spreadsheets and manual follow-up. EAPA teaches you to step back from the individual task and redesign the workflow around it. You learn how to decide what should stay human, what should be structured, what can be automated and where AI genuinely helps. Find the friction Identify duplication, manual handoffs, unclear ownership, poor visibility and work that depends too heavily on memory. Design before you build Map the better process first, then choose the Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI or automation capability that fits it. Apply it to real work Use the programme to improve genuine EA workflows rather than practising isolated software exercises. The EAPA experience The live sessions are only one part of the programme. You also receive a practical implementation environment designed to help you keep building between sessions and after the cohort ends. 277-page EAPA Implementation Workbook A substantial working guide for audits, workflow design, Microsoft 365 decisions, AI guardrails, exercises, templates and practical implementation throughout the programme. Private EAPA Learning Hub A dedicated Microsoft 365 environment bringing together learning resources, programme materials and useful references so you are not left hunting through emails and links. 100+ workflow examples Examples across real assistant work give you practical starting points to adapt rather than asking you to invent every workflow from scratch. Ask Paul A private chatbot grounded in Paul Pennant’s training handouts and EAPA resources, drawing on material developed across approximately 25 years of Microsoft productivity training. 12 months of session recordings Revisit sessions when you are ready to implement, catch up if work interrupts attendance, and return to the material as your role develops. Private cohort community A dedicated space for cohort support, discussion, questions and continuing contact with Paul throughout the programme. What you should be able to do differently The aim is not simply to know more about Microsoft 365. It is to make better decisions about how work should happen. ◆ Diagnose inefficient or fragile workflows before reaching for technology ◆ Build clearer processes across Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Lists, Planner, Forms and Excel ◆ Identify sensible opportunities for Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot and AI ◆ Reduce repeated admin, duplicated information and manual follow-up ◆ Improve visibility, ownership and follow-through for executives and stakeholders ◆ Use AI with stronger judgement around accuracy, confidentiality, permissions and human review ◆ Explain the business value of a workflow improvement rather than simply demonstrating a new feature The Productivity Architecture Framework EAPA gives you a repeatable way to improve a workflow before deciding which technology to use. Discover Map Diagnose Design Govern Build Measure Evolve Design before technology The first five stages happen before Build. You learn to understand the work, identify friction, design the better workflow and consider governance before reaching for Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI or automation. Your Productivity Architecture Project You build one real workflow improvement To graduate, you complete a practical project based on a real workplace workflow wherever possible. You identify the current friction, redesign how the work should happen, choose the right tools, consider governance and show the value created. Your project should demonstrate: ◆ The old process and the friction ◆ The redesigned workflow ◆ The Microsoft tools selected ◆ The AI or automation applied ◆ Time, risk or value improvement ◆ Permissions, guardrails and safety If your organisation restricts what you can build or share, you can use a suitable programme scenario instead. Ten live sessions: from workflow diagnosis to implementation The sessions connect Microsoft 365 capabilities to real EA problems. The emphasis is on what the tool enables in a workflow, not on learning features in isolation. 1. Productivity ArchitectureAudit work, identify friction and risk, and start thinking like a workflow designer rather than a task processor. 2. AI, Copilot and Safe ProductivityUnderstand where AI helps, where it does not, and how confidentiality, judgement, permissions and human review shape safe use. 3. Prompting, Copilot Chat and AgentsBuild stronger prompts and explore practical uses of Copilot Chat and agents in assistant workflows. 4. SharePoint, Groups and File ArchitectureCreate clearer structures for files, access, ownership, collaboration and information across Microsoft 365. 5. Lists, Metadata and Workflow ControlMake work visible and trackable using structured information instead of scattered messages and spreadsheets. 6. Outlook and Teams as the Executive Communication SystemImprove communication, meetings, actions, follow-up and visibility across the channels EAs use every day. 7. Forms, Planner and Intake ManagementCreate cleaner ways to capture requests, prioritise work, assign actions and reduce fragmented communication. 8. Excel for Workflow Evidence and ReportingUse Excel to analyse activity, create evidence, report progress and support better workflow decisions. 9. Power Automate and Power Apps for EA WorkflowsIdentify practical opportunities to automate repeated processes and create simple app-led workflow experiences. 10. Productivity Architecture ProjectBring the methodology together by presenting and explaining one end-to-end workflow improvement. EAPA is designed to translate professional development into workplace application. The programme helps experienced assistants improve how work moves through Microsoft 365, reduce unnecessary manual handling, use AI and automation more deliberately, and create a practical workflow improvement that can be demonstrated back in the organisation. 35 hours of live development Ten structured half-day sessions with practical implementation between sessions. Applied workplace project The delegate redesigns and explains a real workflow rather than only attending training. Better use of Microsoft 365 The programme focuses on connecting tools already present in many organisations into more effective workflows. AI with governance in mind Delegates consider confidentiality, permissions, approved tools, human review and organisational guardrails. Today’s PA is a CPD Standards Office accredited provider. Invoices and purchase-order arrangements can be discussed where required. A ready-made case for your manager The two-page Employer Business Case summarises the workplace value, time commitment, programme inclusions, dates and investment so you can forward it internally. Download the Employer Business Case Ask Paul about employer approval Ask about team delivery Who EAPA is for EAPA is designed for experienced assistants and senior support professionals who already understand the pressure of the role and now want to improve the systems around it. ◆ Executive Assistants and Senior EAs ◆ Personal Assistants ◆ Chiefs of Staff ◆ Business Support Managers ◆ Senior administrative professionals ◆ Professionals responsible for improving team workflows You do not need to be an advanced Microsoft user You do need to be willing to experiment, apply the learning to real work and think beyond individual features. This is not designed as passive software training. AI with judgement, not blind automation EAPA treats AI as one part of the productivity system. You learn to consider what information should enter AI tools, how to challenge outputs, where human review must remain, and how organisational policies and permissions shape what is appropriate. ◆ Protect confidentiality and sensitive information ◆ Challenge AI outputs rather than accepting the first answer ◆ Keep human review where decisions, people, risk or reputation are involved ◆ Work within approved tools, permissions and organisational guardrails Microsoft expertise from someone who understands the EA role Paul Pennant is a Microsoft MVP in Microsoft 365 and Copilot, founder of Today’s PA and a former Executive Assistant. He has spent more than 20 years helping assistants and office professionals use Microsoft technology more effectively, with a practical focus on the work people actually need to get done. Today’s PA has trained professionals from thousands of organisations worldwide and has received repeated recognition for assistant training. EAPA brings that assistant-specific experience together with Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI, automation and workflow design. Frequently asked questions Do I need Microsoft Copilot? No. The programme covers Copilot and AI, but the wider Productivity Architecture methodology and many Microsoft 365 workflows do not depend on having a Copilot licence. What if my organisation restricts AI or automation? That is part of the reality EAPA is designed for. You learn to work within organisational rules, permissions and approved tools, and you can use programme scenarios where a live workplace implementation is not possible. What happens if I miss a live session? Session recordings are available for 12 months, allowing you to catch up and revisit the material when you are ready to implement it. Is this suitable if I already know Microsoft 365 well? Yes, if your goal is to connect those tools into better workflows. EAPA is not positioned as an introduction to Microsoft 365; the focus is on diagnosis, design, implementation and workplace application. Can my organisation book more than one place? Yes. Speak to Paul about multiple delegates, employer requirements or a dedicated team delivery. What do I receive when I complete the programme? Successful participants who complete the programme requirements and Productivity Architecture Project receive the EAPA Grad designation. Ready to design better workflows, not just work harder inside broken ones? The next EAPA cohort begins Monday 22 February 2027. Ten live half-day sessions take you from workflow diagnosis through Microsoft 365, AI and automation to one applied Productivity Architecture Project. Early booking: £2,745 + VAT when booked by 30 November 2026. Standard investment from 1 December 2026: £2,995 + VAT. Charity and eligible organisation rate: £2,445 + VAT. Rates cannot be combined.
