Full Gasket Replacement

Parts and labour included.How we do itWe only take on gasket work we can do properly, so every job is a full replacement done the same way: Trim. The old gasket is cut back cleanly along the line where latex meets fabric, without cutting into the suit. Prep. The remaining latex is cleaned and sanded all the way around so the adhesive bonds fully. Bond on a jig. Each seal is glued on a rigid form and clamped, so the joint cures flat and even with no wrinkles or gaps. Reinforce. Once cured, we add a reinforcing ring at the base of each seal to protect the edge from peeling. Many quick replacements skip this step. Fit. If a new gasket needs opening up, it's trimmed cleanly between the moulded rings with a sharp blade. A single nick is how most tears start. Each stage needs a full cure of about 24 hours, so a proper rebuild takes several days from drop-off.Gasket sizes are confirmed at drop-off.
