Union Sacre Sangio Sangiovese Central Coast 2025

Founded in 2014 by French-born winemaker Xavier Arnaudin and partner Philip Muzzy, Union Sacré is a Paso Robles winery inspired by the wines of Alsace and rooted in California’s Central Coast. Their wines focus on freshness, acidity, elegance, and food-friendly character, working with select Central Coast reds. Rather than following convention, Union Sacré embraces creative techniques, including skin-contact and carbonic fermentation (whole, uncrushed grapes ferment in a carbon-dioxide-rich environment, which helps to bring out fruitier notes and the wine feel a bit rounder), to make distinctive wines that are approachable, expressive, and meant to be enjoyed. Notes Bright and lively, with aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, violet, and subtle herbs. The palate is fresh and juicy, showing red berry fruit, gentle spice, bright acidity, and soft, silky tannins, finishing clean with a savory touch.
