Domaine Jaume Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge comes from Vinsobres in the northern part of the Southern Rhône. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, it has generous red fruit and spice balanced by lovely freshness from the area’s higher-altitude vineyards. Château Haut Pingat 2022 is a Merlot-led Bordeaux from a small family estate in Entre-deux-Mers. Plum and raspberry fruit meet soft spice, smooth tannins and a fresh, fruit-driven finish. These aren’t wines that need time in the cellar. They’re made for drinking now — around the table, outside as the evenings get longer, or simply when you want to open something delicious without spending a fortune.
