Propaganda was an integral component in Hanoi’s military strategy. Propaganda took many forms such as photographs taken during and after battle, posters, songs, newspapers, flyers, radio, plays etc. This photograph is an original North Vietnamese, wartime produced, depicting the scene shown. This is not a modern reprint. It possibly was captured in the South as it made its way to a local Viet Cong newspaper. This image was published thousands of times all over North & South Vietnam as well as everywhere in the communist world. This photo measures 6×8 inches.
