WHEEL THROWN TEAPOT WORKSHOP

It is officially cozy season, sweater weather and time to wrap your hands around a warm cup of tea. I invite you to join me to craft your own special teapot to serve up your favourite concoctions this fall. This is a workshop for those of you who can centre 2.5-3 lb of clay and control the clay. This is not for newbies -no foundations will be taught. week one , we will focus on moving the clay, shaping the clay, building the parts of the teapot- spout, lid and body all on the wheel. week two we will attach the spout, handle and lid handle and the rest of the time will be spent decorating. Nov 17 Tuesday 2-5pm. throw the teapot body, lid, spout Nov 21 - Sunday 1-5pm trim, attach spout and handles and decorate
