Wingsong

In folklore, finches were read as omens of good fortune — their song a small blessing overheard. Here two birds spiral together mid-call, voices made visible as a single shared gesture. Cast in bronze, that instant of song is held permanently: the fleeting turned eternal, echoing the tension between what passes and what endures that runs through the wider body of work. Material: Bronze, 24 x 18 x 19cm Edition: Edition of 7 Price: £3,800 Lead time: 10 weeks Process: The birds are sculpted and their wings hand-carved, then cast from moulds into wax and cast in bronze at the foundry using the lost wax method.
