Old Vine Riesling, Tantalus, 2022, East Kelowna Slopes, Canada (s) (r)

This wine is drinkable now, but it could age for at least 100 years. Since we'd be lucky to live that long, we say dig in. Like all Tantalus wines, the fruit is so full and ripe yet it's outstandingly fresh. This is a one-two punch that is a knockout. For the petrol heads it is pure harmony. The fermentation is low and slow taking 45 days to preserve all the aromas and then it is kept in the bottle for a further 2 years before release.
