Aesop Unforeseen Aer Sample

Samples of Unforeseen Aer by Aesop, their new Eau de Parfum released in 2026. Top notes: Lime heart, petitgrain, nutmeg Middle notes: Eucalyptus, geranium, lavender Base notes: Patchouli heart, cypress, labdanum resinoid What we think: We're pleasantly surprised at how smooth the mix is! Of course, we shouldn't be surprised - Aesop is fantastic at delivering wearability without sacrificing depth or quality. But looking at the notes list, at first we weren't sure if this one might be too sharp or bitter for us. Unforeseen Aer has a fougère-like notes list, although there's no oakmoss. While the fougère comparison might be appealing to some, for others fougères can come across as, well, "swampy." We're often in the second category (though we have our favorites), but fortunately that's not the case here! It really leans into the fresh forest air vibe, yet with more of an aromatic touch. Think forest air meets herb garden, done in a smooth and versatile way. To us, the scent leans more stereotypically masculine.
