For the Beauty of the Earth for soprano voice and flute trio

One of several new works composed by Conrad Kocher especially for a nature themed spring concert, this arrangement highlights the beauty to be found in the world around us, a beauty that is too often overlooked in our hurried, mostly indoor lives. While it features a soprano voice, the three C flutes provide a flowing accompaniment and connect the verses with interesting instrumental interludes. This cherished hymn is especially uplifting in its message and also its music.
