Description The ZONESUN ZS-MD910K Automatic Checkweigher & Metal Detector combines dynamic weight inspection, metal detection and automatic rejection in one continuous conveyor system. It detects underweight, overweight and metal-contaminated products, including compatible ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contaminants. Non-conforming products are automatically removed by the push-rod reject system, while qualified products continue downstream. Checkweigher accuracy also varies with product weight, package dimensions, conveyor speed, vibration and product spacing. Checkweigher Touchscreen Control Operators can set target weight, upper and lower tolerance limits, product recipes and operating parameters while monitoring inspection results in real time. Metal Detector Controller The independent touchscreen controller allows adjustment of metal-detection sensitivity and inspection settings for different products. Final sensitivity should be confirmed using actual samples and test pieces. Metal Detection Tunnel The inspection tunnel is designed to detect compatible ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel contaminants as products pass through the conveyor. Products with metallic or metallized packaging require separate evaluation because the packaging itself can affect detection. Dynamic Checkweighing The weighing conveyor measures each product while it is moving and compares the result with the programmed acceptable range. Products that are underweight or overweight can be rejected automatically. Automatic Reject System The push-rod reject mechanism removes products that fail the configured metal or weight inspection criteria while allowing qualified products to continue downstream.
