Let’s start with the base of the cloth which is a hand tied and tied pure silk Bandhini in shades of olive green bronze and cream. Dull gold Zari threads run throughout the cloth, creating a subtle gridwork upon which the hand work is further embellished with Zarson: a couched 3D textured metallic embroidery, which is very labor-intensive. The kimono is finished off with a subtle gold silk collar band and cuff. Lined in a light white crêpe with two side pockets and a single button closure.
