0.85ct Apatite Solitaire in Mixed Metal Solitaire, 9ct Yellow and White Gold, size 7.5 or just over O1/2, 2.1g

We are a sucker for these amazing tropical sea aqua blues. These colours are the ocean as they lap gently over the sand, and the colour of the bright blue sky with whispy clouds on a perfect summer's day. This stone has some natural inclusions that do have that whispy cloud or lapping wave look and we love the movement this creates. This natural apatite is a great blue stone and not used as much as we would love to see in jewellery. Held in a six claw setting and with illusion set white gold bypass shoulders, we adore the way the white metal glints in the sunlight against the blue. The band is a solid 9ct yellow gold band - vintage and from a time before it was common place to hollow out the underside for look.
