The H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Centre Seconds Vantablack Ref 1200-1235 represents the absolute pinnacle of minimalist high watchmaking, striking a perfect balance between sleek modern science and classic, refined horology. This timepiece presents a captivating play of light and void, utilizing a highly technical, light-absorbing dial inside Moser's Endeavour case. The dial is crafted from Vantablack, a revolutionary coating composed of vertically aligned carbon nanotube arrays that absorb 99.965% of incident light. This creates an abyss-like, ultra-black canvas that appears completely flat and borderless. Hovering directly above this void are leaf-shaped hours and minutes hands, alongside a slim, center-sweeping seconds hand, all finished with a brilliant polish that reflects light sharply against the total darkness beneath. The reverse side reveals the in-house automatic Caliber HMC 200 which operates at 3Hz and features a bidirectional pawl-winding system delivering a 72-hour power reserve. The movement is fitted with their proprietary double hairspring, and showcases Moser’s "double crested" Côtes de Genève striped bridges.
