Large Sheepskin Rug | Natural Nappa

A long, generous, dense rug made from two full New Zealand sheepskins joined end to end, with deep, soft wool in a warm natural tone. At roughly 190cm long, it will run the length of a sofa or the foot of a bed, or drape over an armchair and pool on the floor. The wool is naturally insulating and breathable, and it shrugs off dirt better than you'd expect. The skins are a by-product of pastoral farming in New Zealand, where sheep are raised outdoors for meat. They're tanned using minimal chemicals, in production powered partly by solar energy and recycled heat. Every sheepskin is natural, so size and colour vary a little from piece to piece.
