Her colors and any monogram request (her name, initials or birthday date) 4. Her party date How to Measure Your Baby Please measure her standing up, not lying down. Measurements taken lying down are not accurate. Ask someone to help hold her steady, use a soft measuring tape, and measure over a diaper or light clothing. Inches or centimeters are both fine. - Shoulder to floor: from the top of her shoulder, next to the neck, straight down to the floor - Chest circumference: all the way around the fullest part of her chest, under her arms - Waist circumference: all the way around her natural waist - Shoulder to waist: from the top of her shoulder down to her natural waist - Waist to knee: from her natural waist down to her knee Not sure? You approve the fabrics before anything is cut. 3. Her pattern is drafted from her own measurements. 4. You receive photos as the bodice, then the full skirt, then the sleeves and finishing details are made, approving each stage. 5. You approve the finished gown before it ships.
