Kinusaiga Full Kit - Roller Skate

An ‘80s flashback kit, featuring a Roller Skate and some simple flowers! This image immediately brings me back to skate nights and flashing lights! *Please note the finished image is to show an example of what yours may look like. You will receive a kit to make your own variant. This is a DIY project. This kit is designed for a Beginner skill level. Each full kit will come with what you need to get started! 6”x6” Foam block with double sided adhesive already affixed in place Vinyl line drawing affixed to block (this is your guide— the pieces will become your fabric templates) Craft knife to cut the line drawing into the foam Seam ripper to use as a tuck tool Fabrics (colors may vary from listing photos) Color Map print out* Optional custom made blank wooden frame available as an add-on. *While the kit comes with fabrics and a color map- they are suggestions, feel free to use your own stash if you have one… and to stray as desired from my colors! Kinusaiga is the art of creating a painting using silk (or other fabrics). The origins can be traced back to Japanese textile artist Maeno Setsu who pioneered the technique in the late 1980s. I have been extremely inspired lately by this technique. Creating artworks from my vast collection of line drawings.
