Bright turquoise vintage rug - G825

Bright turquoise with black shadows of the original pattern, which run through the entire surface as fine lines and spots. The rug looks almost plain, but up close you can still see tendrils and the outline of a border.Artisans in Turkey hand-knotted this vintage rug, using wool on a cotton base. That hand-knotted work makes it sturdy, and the low pile ensures that it lies smoothly on the floor. The color is vibrant without being garish. The size fits well under a coffee table in the living room, or next to a double bed in the bedroom. On a light floor, the turquoise stands out; on a dark floor or with a dark gray sofa, it becomes a calm area of color. The rug measures 250 by 150 centimeters.
