Tatsuro Yamashita's long-awaited live album "JOY2" is finally set for release, marking his first live album in an astonishing 37 years. Drawn from more than 600 performances across 18 years, it presents the very best of the best live recordings. The Limited Edition comes as a deluxe 4-disc set, featuring three discs with a total of 38 tracks plus a bonus disc containing 9 additional tracks. For years, fans have eagerly awaited this project, while Tatsuro Yamashita himself has periodically shared updates on its progress. Now, "JOY2" is finally complete. Following the live albums "IT'S A POPPIN' TIME" (1978) and "JOY" (1989), this becomes Yamashita's third live album overall. It also marks an extraordinary 37-year gap since the release of "JOY", making it one of the most anticipated releases among his fans. The album's contents are equally impressive. Personally selected by Yamashita from over 600 performances given during 13 nationwide tours between 2008 and 2025, the collection features only the finest performances.
