Dichondra argentea (Silver Ponyfoot)

Silver Ponyfoot is a low, mat-forming ground cover featuring metallic, silver-gray foliage that pops against darker colors. It colonizes by stolons and is useful for erosion control, creating a dense, low mat. It prefers open, sunny sites in well-drained soil, and good drainage is critical; it should not be overwatered. Silver Ponyfoot also works well in hanging baskets and containers.
