Wise Guy Ring

An owl in full wing spread, landing on your finger like it owns the place. The body is open lattice work — elongated oval cutouts running vertically — while the wings fan out wide on both sides in a scalloped filigree pattern. The eyes are the star detail: two large beaded circles with raised centres, oxidised dark so they really stare. It's a figurative ring that doesn't take itself too seriously, which is exactly right for an owl. The oxidised finish throughout gives it depth and a slightly vintage feel without looking dated.
