Our sweet Hwabaek white peaches are lower in acid and taste sweet whether firm or soft. Their skin is fuzzy and creamy white with blushes of red and pink. This is the ultimate dessert peach on its own. They are good at first bite on its own. For added flair, drizzle the peeled peaches (sliced in a glass or whole in a dessert bowl) with dry white wine or prosecco. The peaches are specially curated from Cheongdo County, North Gyeongsang Province, where the daily temperature differences allowed the peaches to develop good flavour. They develop good sweetness as the fruit received sunlight evenly. Peaches with sugar content of over 13 Brix are picked for this harvest, ensuring that you get the best quality peaches. The peaches are put through a cold treatment to ensure the quality consistency after harvest. Storage and enjoyment of peach The sweetness of peaches can decrease if they are kept too cold, so keep them at a temperature that is slightly cooler than room temperature. The ideal method to enjoy peaches is to keep them in a cool, well-ventilated, shady place for 2-3 days. Put them in the fridge shortly before you eat them and consume them cold.
