Luscious Lunar Snowskin Mooncake Gift Box

Every Mid-Autumn someone turns up with a good box of mooncakes. It may as well be you. Cut the salted egg yolk one in half and the middle bursts. Molten salted yolk, lotus paste underneath, and little bits of pumpkin seed that crunch through it. The snowskin stays cold and soft because we don't bake these. Bake a centre like that and it just sets. Six mooncakes in the box, two each of three flavours. Real lotus paste, by the way, not green bean, and everything that goes into them is halal certified. The pandan gula melaka is salted so it doesn't go sweet on you, and the matcha is left bitter with black sesame underneath.
