Grimoldby Golden

Culinary apple. Raised c.1900 by William Ingall of Grimoldby near Louth. Parentage unknown. A medium-sized greenish yellow skinned codlin-type apple with a bright pinkish blush. Cooks to a sharp but pleasant-tasting puree without the need for much sugar. Pollination group B Pick early September and use Sept – Oct Supplied on half-standard rootstock MM106, suitable to grow free-standing or as espalier or cordon (please add note to order if for formal training)
