This trilogy is mesmerising and we are so thrilled with how this amazing up-cycle turned out. The ring - stems from the 1990s - when gold was cheap enough to readily set with CZs - chunky and strong - these make the most phenomenal glow up rings. Unheated hand cut hand fossicked sapphires are some of our favourites. They are slow fashion, sustainably sourced and ethical in every way. This centre 1ct stone has the most phenomenal colour play and we are blown away still by the magical way parti sapphires dance in blues, greens and yellows. Found in three places on earth they are created why blue and yellow sapphire crystals form together. From our amazing collection from two gents who fossicked all over Australia from the 1970s - and then lovingly hand cut their won stones - these really are exceptional one off pieces. We knew that matching this stone was going to be tricky because of that amazing colour pay - and we really wanted to hero it. So no new stones for us - no thank you. Instead it will not shock you to learn that over the last 5 years we have amassed a collection of diamonds out of old rings. The pair of diamonds are gorgeous, well matched and white (G colour stones), natural, and they add the most phenomenal sparkle to this ring. Truly - a sustainable ring with the fanciest of glow ups.
