Constructed of all torrefied woods, it has an Adirondack Spruce top (hand selected in Lewiston, Maine) and European Flame Maple back and sides. These mandolins are very easy playing and have a classic aesthetic. The sound is surprisingly loud and has a satisfying and deep and woody tone. The Bourgeois M5A SB is a product of the collaboration between Bourgeois and Eastman Music. Eastman is known for high-quality hand carved violin and arched top guitar soundboards, and this instrument is a testimony!
