Based in the SoCal city it’s named after, Cherry Los Angeles was launched in 2017 by longtime friends Joseph Perez and David Levy. The brand is proudly made in LA, and is characterised by vintage-inspired graphics and silhouettes that pay homage to 20th-century Americana culture. Cherry Los Angeles and Oracle Red Bull Racing teamed up in 2024 to deliver a collaborative collection celebrating the team’s arrival in Texas for the Austin Grand Prix. The 12-piece capsule, rooted in motorsport heritage, is led by a retro-inspired Championship Jacket with designs dating back to the ’80s. As you'd expect, if you know Cherry, everything has a nostalgic feel, with archival reworked graphics throughout. Graphic tees are a core part of the label's offering, often depicting the brand's logo, Americana themes, or vintage motorsports. The "Luxury" label commands an eye-watering price tag at retail, and is rare to come across here in lil old New Zealand.
