7 Vans is the first solo publication from Colpa Press with Los Angeles artist Mario Ayala. Published alongside Ayala’s exhibition of the same name at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, the book functions as a travelogue, visual diary, scrapbook, video mixtape, and exhibition catalog, bringing together imagery and references drawn from the artist’s experience of West Coast culture. Includes an essay by curator Patricia Restrepo. 162 pages with a screen printed Colorplan cover and lay flat binding. First edition of 300, published May 2026. 8.5 x 11 in.
