The Morrison family has been part of Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch distilleries. Clydeside brings together new and old, using our time-tested, traditional techniques to make Glasgow's first single malt whisky in over a century. This Clydeside Single Malt is produced using clear water from Loch Katrine, 100% Scottish barley and then matured in the finest Oak casks. Initially matured in bourbon before an extended finish in an ex-Madeira cask, this whisky develops layers of rich fruit, warming spice and confectionery sweetness while retaining the elegant Lowland character of the Clydeside spirit. Nose: Tinned peach, jasmine and orange blossom. Palate: Ripe banana, apricot coulis and barley sugar. Finish: Caramel, cinnamon and walnut.
