An Irish Violin by James Beatley, Dublin, 2018
Very happy with the recent arrival of another Irish violin, this time the work of Dublin-based maker James Beatley, made in Stoneybatter, close to the city centre, in 2018. The violin, which pays homage to the work of Simone Sacconi as well as Antonio Stradivari, has been much-loved by its prior owner, and has benefitted from a lot of playing which has helped to develop the warm and resonant tone of the instrument.
