Opaque, lustrous, trigonal dark Black Tourmaline Schorl. This specimen has an etched "Mercedes" termination. Resinous, translucent, light yellow Hyalite (Opal-AN) has developed on the side and bottom of the Black Tourmaline. Hyalite (Opal-An) is UV reactive. A small Smoky Quartz crystal has developed on the Black Tourmaline. Contact Damage to the Smoky Quartz Point.
