Change the water regularly Change the water every 2 days and re-cut about 1 cm off the stems each time to help improve water absorption. Reviving wilted sunflowers If your sunflowers start to wilt, place them in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then return them to fresh, normal-temperature water.
