A very fine, Art Deco, Platinum & 15ct, White Gold (tested), 4.55 Carat Diamond Plaque Brooch, in a stylised oblong design with open strap work which is Mille Grain edged, A central rub-over set Old European Cut Diamond of approximately 0.55 Carats, G Colour & SI2 Clarity, surrounded by 132 Old European Cut, Single Cut & Transition Cut Natural Diamonds, assessed in their mounts as 4.00 carats (total), of G-H Colour and VS2-SI1 Clarity. Weights are approximate due to settings. This beautiful brooch is accompanied by an independent gemmologist's report confirming the above assessment. English Circa 1930
