Vintage 1960s Handwoven Buntal Palm Box Bag Mid Century Resort Evening Purse Size M

Always ecstatic to find an exceptional piece of mid-century fashion history. This is a Vintage 1960s/1970s Handwoven Buntal Box Handbag with lovely rounded handles and art deco style brass hardware. Unlike standard straw or plastic wicker, this exquisite hard-case purse is meticulously crafted from premium Buntal fiber (fine, tightly woven palm stalks natively harvested in the Philippines). Closes with a gold-tone flip-lock featuring black enamel monogram charm with the initial "M". We love doing research about these pieces and apparently the "Victory" brand zipper on the internal pocket, confirms its boutique heritage and authentic Philippine artisanal origin. Perfect for work, play or maybe even that resort holiday! Interior is perfectly clean and just some general wear. Please do however note the oxidization on one of the the triangular brass features.
