2020 Zaro 'Eazy' Refosk, 750ml

A family winery run by a father, Bruno Zaro, and his four sons in Izola, Slovenia on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Bruno redirected his life, leaving his secure job to invest in his own project fueled by the pursuit of freedom and familial business. Over the years (more than a decade) each member of the family has grown into their own sector of the winery, each involved in winemaking, each on their own journey to discovering the depths and possibilities of their region. The 'Eazy' Refosk is punchy, fresh, structured with notes of cool leather, cacao, and dried herbs. A great pairing with barbecue meats and veggies, douchi (aka fermented black beans - order the bok choy from Harana Market!).
