Australian Journey is a 65-minute documentary telling the story of Polish-born explorer Michał Kozok, who in 2023 crossed Australia alone, self-supported and without motorised transport. The film follows his extraordinary journey through some of the most remote and demanding parts of the country he now calls home. More than a story of physical endurance, the documentary is about determination, resilience, courage and pursuing ambitious goals despite hardship. Michał’s journey offers a powerful example of what can be achieved through persistence and self-belief, while also presenting Australia’s vast landscapes from a unique perspective. The film was created by Simon Target and Michał Kozok and released by Handheld Features in 2026.
