Unlike standard single-tone stones, it features a specialized foil or vacuum plating on the back that causes the crystal to change color depending on the viewing angle. Bermuda Blue features distinct flashes of deep indigo, violet, and purple. Because it is a multi-toned effect color, shifting angles or dim lighting causes the deep ocean blue to drop into a dark, moody purple-blue tone.
