She has experience working with young yogis—from children to teenagers—both in the studio and online. For ileen, yoga is much more than practicing poses. Through movement, breathwork, meditation, storytelling, art, music, and thoughtfully chosen props, she creates meaningful experiences that support the mind, body, and heart. Her classes honor the rituals and traditions of yoga while sharing them in ways that feel accessible, imaginative, and engaging. ileen understands how important it is for children and teenagers to have tools they can turn to when life feels difficult. Learning to connect the mind and body through breath and movement can help them navigate challenges with greater calm and confidence. These are gifts young yogis can carry off the mat and throughout their lives, helping them feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to the light within themselves. Sara Haynes Yoga for Children Sara is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with an additional 95-hour certification in children's yoga and a 20-hour yin yoga certificate. As a former Early Childhood educator, she believes that creating space for young children to explore their emotions, sense of self, and physical movement is key to a happy, healthy developing child. A practicing yogi for over 14 years, Sara has seen firsthand the power of mindfulness and the mind-body connection, and how time on the mat builds tools that carry off the mat, into meaningful, everyday moments. She believes yoga can offer children a safe space to develop the skills they need to navigate the world around them. Off the mat, Sara is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), seeing clients out of her solo private practice in person in Denver and virtually throughout Colorado.
