Condition: Used, new pins This custom Medeco Biaxial KIK cutaway is made to display Medeco's rotating pins while remaining robust enough for gentle picking. It is built on a used core fitted with a new set of pins. The core stays functional and pickable. The cutaway alters the feedback at the pins, but it stays close to the real feel of the lock. Light tension and gentle, controlled picking are recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation. A solid choice for picking practice, study, and display. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
