VANILLA | DATE | MOLASSES Farmers around Ninga Hill used to walk more than fifteen kilometers — up to three hours on foot — to deliver cherry to Long Miles' original Bukeye Washing Station, distrustful of closer mills with histories of unfair scales and delayed payouts. After years of land negotiation and permitting, Long Miles opened Ninga as its third washing station in 2020, finally giving the community a mill of its own. This offering is a fully washed blend drawn from across the Ninga area -- pulped, washed clean, and dried slowly on raised beds. In the cup: Vanilla and date sweetness over a rich, molasses-like body.
