Vintage Emerald Green Cut Glass Perfume Bottle Jeweled Rhinestone Floral Topper

A breathtaking mid-century vanity treasure — a heavy emerald green cut glass perfume bottle featuring an intricate star and pinwheel pattern across the domed base. The original jeweled rhinestone floral topper is a showstopper in its own right, with delicate wire branches adorned with deep green glass leaves and sparkling aurora borealis rhinestones that catch the light beautifully. The brass filigree collar anchors the topper elegantly to the bottle. Strongly attributed to the Irving W. Rice Company (Irice) of New York, renowned importers of luxury art glass vanity pieces during the 1940s and 1950s. A classic of Hollywood Regency style.Unmarked, as many Irice pieces are. Approximately 6 inches tall with topper, 5 inches in diameter at the base. The cap mechanism is present with internal spring intact; siphon tube is absent. One aurora borealis stone is missing from the topper — barely noticeable and in no way diminishing the drama of this piece. No chips, cracks, or damage to the glass.
