For 2026 ION has refined the Core Slim around a durable recycled outer shell, 5mm foam padding and a foil-compatible opening, so you can put the board away with the mast and foil still fitted. It is a particularly useful option if you regularly rig at home or want to move between launch spots without dismantling your complete foil setup every time. Why choose the ION Wing Core Slim? Made for slimmer wing boards: the narrower proportions are better suited to modern mid-length and performance foil boards than an oversized conventional wing board bag. 5mm foam protection: helps protect the rails, deck and hull against everyday knocks, scratches and transport wear. Foil-compatible opening: a Velcro opening underneath allows the mast and foil to remain attached to the board. Recycled outer shell: constructed using robust 100% recycled PU-coated PET 450D fabric. The Core Slim has a Velcro opening underneath specifically designed to allow the mast to pass through the bag, meaning you can store or transport the board without dismantling the foil after every session.
