Most of an ice bath's heat loss happens at the water surface. With an insulated cover your chiller switches on less often to hold the same temperature. Can rainwater be left standing on it?No. The cover is not designed to collect water. If a pool of water remains on top, the cover will sag and may tear under the weight. Wipe water off, or place the bath in a sheltered spot. How do I clean the cover?Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Let it dry before folding it up, to prevent mould.
