He was born and raised in Vereeniging, Gauteng. He was raised by both parents and growing up along his three brothers. He attend high school at Riverside High School where he completed his matric in 2017 and then took a gap year in 2018 to figure out what he wanted to study as he wasn’t sure about tertiary education. Then in 2019 he went on to study Photography in a Art & Media school named CityVarsity in Cape Town, South Africa. That’s where he discovered that he wanted to be a professional artist. Reuben has now had several exhibitions with galleries such as TheFourth, Eclectica Contemporary, Nel and Gallery2 and has also been featured in art platforms like Artsy and Singularart.
